The Reference for Theme Developers.

In order to create your own theme you will need two pictures:

1. Main background image ( 240x268 pixels )

2. Start Menu image ( 158x290 pixels )

You can create those pictures by using any of your favorite graphics program such as Adobe Photoshop or PaintShop.

Next, you will need Theme Generating Software:

1. Choose Create New Theme

2. On the next screen click on the browse button to select main background image.

You can play with the transparency settings to achieve the desire shade of the image.

3. On the next screen you get to choose a Start Menu image. You have 2 choices: Use the Main Background image or select another one ( 158x290 pixels ) that you made before.

Keep in mind that you will not be able to change Start Menu text and will always be black, so the Start Menu image should be as light as possible or you can play with the transparency settings to achieve correct result. Usually the good setting for transparency is in 50-80 % range.

4. On the next screen is where you will be able to change colors of the text, command bar and title bar.

5. You almost done!

Just name the theme, check the box if you want it to be copied on your PPC device ( only if it's connected ) and click finish.
