EU strikes initial deal to scrap roaming fees in 2017

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Union reached a preliminary deal on Tuesday to abolish mobile roaming charges across the 28-country bloc by June 2017 and to require telecom operators to treat all Internet traffic equally.
