Description: Dopewars is a game simulating the life of a drug dealer in 1984 New York, based upon the MS-DOS game of the same name, in turn derived from "Drug Wars" by John E. Dell. The idea of DopeWars is to deal in drugs on the streets of New York, amassing a huge fortune and paying off the loanshark, while avoiding the police who take a rather dim view of drug dealing...

| A very cool game. The only thing everyone hates is that it's a text-oriented adventure... |

| This game is done excellently on the Palm, but this version is horribly difficult to play quickly. The user interface depends on submenus which slow you down to the point where you spend more time waiting for the submenus and screenchanges than you do making decisions. This is the kind of game that can take a long time to play, and you don't want to spend that time waiting for the game.
I love this type of game, and I thank the author for trying to port it over, but some refinement would go a long way. |

| Cool game to keep you occupied when you don't have anything to do. |

| Okay, the whole drug thing may not be morally good, but this is an addictive game, and a lot of fun. My roomate and I are in competition for who makes the most bank. |
